The doctor’s prescription, not a copy
The medicines come straight from the doctor’s record of the visit, with dose, frequency and duration, and the prescriber named. The patient chooses where it goes but can’t edit what’s on it.

The patient knows where it stands
Accepting, rejecting with a reason or handing over shows up on the patient’s visit record. A prescription is filled once, so it can’t be collected twice.

Patient privacy, built in
A pharmacy account can read exactly two things about a person: the name and the UHID stamped on an order the patient sent you. It cannot look a patient up, cannot see clinical history, and cannot write anything to a patient’s record. That is enforced by row-level security in the database — there is no screen to reach it from because there is no permission to build one on. Doctors and clinics don’t choose a pharmacy for the patient, and aren’t told which one the patient picked.
